Like, why isn't the hourly blitz tournament 4+2, for example? I personally think that's much more fun, especially because it encourages people to play higher quality chess. I pretty much never play the classical tournaments because, why waste 15 minutes on one game and then lose on time to some mouse artist who effortlessly blitz out stupid moves? It wouldn't sting as much with time increment because at least you stand a chance in winning positions in a time scramble.
