correspondence games - engine support

This is allowed only in a casual game where both sides blatantly agree for it to be allowed. It is never allowed in rated games.
Lots of auto movers lots of engine wizards online but their wrong doing always catches up with them in the end their ego is too big for them not to trip up and get the ban hammer dropped on them.

I look at it this way for every guy who cheats you can brush it off and come back with 2-3 wins against a legitimate opponent who cares?! you can get the rating points back.

That is very interesting! In real life correspondence, everything is allowed. Or to be more clear: nothing is strictly forbidden. There should be some prominent place on the way to the beginning of a correspondence game, where this is stated clearly. I don't think that everybody looks at the forums for this...
Where have you heard that engines are allowed in correspondence chess?

"3. You may consult chess books and periodicals but not
other players. You cannot use a computer or computer program
(chessplaying algorithms) to evaluate a game, but you
may use computers for record keeping and databases."

^Only in a *casual* game and if and only if both players explicitly agree to it.
Was referring to #7: "In real life correspondence, everything is allowed. Or to be more clear: nothing is strictly forbidden."
