Attempts of the longest chess game possible: Part 1

I couldn't really fit this topic into any other categories, so if I'm posting this wrong, please inform me by replying. It's my first ever Lichess forum post.

For 11 years Lichess has never had the longest chess game in their website. I'm here to change that. Although not today, I hope to be finished by next week. I will update this thread and create a blog once I have reached my goal.

This game seemed promising, however I messed up and got a draw. It was only my second game, and I don't really understand chess that much to begin with. Although I don't know much about chess, I can't really understand why I got a draw. It's not because of the 50 move draw, because I pushed a pawn. If anyone understands, please reply, it would mean a lot :)

Spoiler alert: The longest possible chess game is apparently 8848.5 moves. I calculated (by that I mean thought for like 5 seconds) that it would take me around 9 hours to get it done if I did it non-stop. But I'm dedicated, and I want to this.

If you've read this far I hope you have a nice day, and if you haven't, then have a nice day.
I think lichess has a limit, only games of 300 moves or less are allowed. If you try to play longer, the system declares it a draw.
lol it looks like stopmotion if you hold the forward arrow

yes even i think so
Yes there is a 300 move limit, and computer analysis is limited to 100 moves. Thibault said in a talk that there were server issues due to people trying to upload games that are thousands of moves long and then asking for a computer analysis. You are welcome to download the code and run your own server for such experiments, but unfortunately limits have had to be placed on the main servers.
