What's a good winrate?

I created my account in November and with less than 200 games played, I have a win rate of roughly 51%, but I feel like it's a bit low, but that can be due to the fact that the fewer games you have played, the more your win rate will fluctuate. I would like to know what's considered a good win rate, however.
Winrate doesn't mean too much, it only depends on the strength of the opposition. If one plays others around their strength, their winrate would be around 50%. If they play a lot of stronger players, their winrate would naturally be lower. I guess you could say that your winrate says more about who you play, rather than how you play.
About 50% should be fine.
It doesn't matter, to be honest.
When you face a stronger opponent, it is gonna be lower.
And vice versa.
So, don't fret about that and have fun playing chess!
:)
If you only play people near your rating (like through matchmaking on the home page), your winrate will necessarily be very close to 50%.
51 is quite good keeping in mind draws are also there, means even if you get 1% draw the you get 18 wins for every 17 loss which is good but keep in mind rating depends on the usual strength of your opponent.
Everyone should have around 75%. Of course, this is impossible.
But maybe, if everyone tried a little harder?
100% is a good win rate.

If you use the quick pairing and your win rate is above 50% it could mean you're improving.
But with 200 games played I think 1% is only a few games, so 51% while better than 50% it could be normal variance in performance.

I play because I enjoy it, I don't worry about my stats, I don't study or train either. Some people find enjoyment in looking at their stats, studying, training and improving. Do whatever you enjoy, if you're like me and you don't enjoy studying and training then ignore the stats.
