Difficult to implement though, right? How would you make sure everyone stayed in without people losing rating for defaulting? If you could take a bye like an OTB tournament and skip rounds that way, what would happen to the pairing system?
They used to have this, when you created a tournament you had the option of making it arena(current style) or swiss, which has rounds. the latter was not popular so I guess that is why it was later removed it.
they had broken 1 swiss that waz beta. How you make anyone stey in. Simple if he dc he gets lost game?
