Situation with one NM.

I don't think Lance is a cheater.

He stays in anonymous, nobody knows even his name (I think), but it doesn't mean that he hides other things. He's clearly an exceptional player, but I don't think he cheats.

One day I joined his simul, after it ends he stayed there and answered some questions about the matches, explaining all plays, positions and pretensions, whatever your rate (I learnt a lot that day). Always being nice. I think that isn't part of personality for a person who cheats.

Maybe this NM wasn't in a good day (in life).

Just a personal opinion.
@Neverness

You are absolutely right.

@Chesstroll_Berserk

You are probably correct.

@ijnelson137

Each chessplayer has freedom of choice.
I am just defensive side and not the side who has "pushed the trigger".

@Mina_tofa

Thank you very much for the link!
I was looking for something like this.

It is very helpful and clear.

@elbarriguzi

Thank you a lot for your very kind and detailed message.

Simuls is a great feature on Lichess and I enjoy it very much.
I hope that I would be able to give a simul on 100 boards one day.

I am happy that you have learned a lot that day and I wish you goodluck in your further chess improvement.

Yes, each chessplayer has good and bad days, this is quite common.
Lance, can I tell you something? Don't let others provoke you. I myself have been suspected as you probably know. Sometimes I reacted badly. In my opinion, your not a cheater. If you are a cheater, then it might as well be that I'm a cheater too, just because i preferred to keep myself anonymous?? No. :D
@LM ChessInstinct.
.
Thanks for you message and support.

Sorry, I am not aware about yourself being suspected.

You are very good and fair player and you gave me a good challenge in our games. My respect to you.

Well, I count the case in post #1 as not provokation but just public accusation, so I count the events just as they are.

Immunity to provokations (not in this case but in general) is helpful.

It just needs to follow Lichess rules.

@SexySoul

Thank you also.
Lance is the nicest person on lichess. He would never cheat even if he did cheat. That is how honest he is.
Hi Gregory, please clarify your point since it is difficult to see it clearly from the current construction of your post.
Hi Lance, i'm here just to let you know that you are officially become my favorite player on lichess. Despite my love to Fins and Atrophied.
Now, about your post, i'm just an amateur player, who joined this site on August 2015, starting with a 1300 rank. Day by day, i enjoyed to play on here, i think Lichess to be the best chess online site on the web, and i improved my rating to 1877 (yesterday) in classical. I'm still a newbie, seeing all the FMs, NMs, IMs, GMs and great anonymous players who play here, I dont know much, basically anything regard engines and stuff, but, for as much my opinion counts, you are not a cheater, you are just an amazing guy who wants to stay anonymous, and play for FUN, not for titles, i remember once in your simul, one guy asked "why dont you ask to be a LM?" You answered "It's not objective, my aim is to enjoy all the games i play".
Now, said that, I do agree 100% with elbarriguzi. I find pretty impossible that a cheater spends time to answer ALL the people questions who joined your simul. I find, instead, pretty normal to see a possible cheater who stays in silence and in the dark and never chats with anyone, because in any moment, unconsciously, he could make other think of his secret.
Again i renew my respect to you Lance and my admiration as well. I hope this fact won't, in any way, change your passion for chess and you will still play online games on here. I believe you have many fans out there.
With regards,
Deadban
@Lance

I was stating that you would never cheat period. I agree with Deadban, SexySoul, and ChessInstinct.
