Lighter interface?

There seems to be a lot of fancy animations going on when moving pieces etc and games are pretty sluggish in my old notebook. 0+1 and even 0+3 is unplayable. Couldn't there be an option for a lighter interface, disable animations something like that? I have every possible anymation setting on "None". Another popular chess website runs smoothly in all my computers.

#3 IMHO, with anymation setting on "None" this interface appears to be very light, at least compared to other major sites' web interfaces. I'm almost certain I wouldn't find it sluggish on a Raspberry Pi.

Haha yeah #4, I have actually tried it on my Pi (model 2) and it's not half bad. Maybe not appropriate for the lowest bullet time control, perhaps.

You should really get a newer notebook at this point, if a tiny Raspberry Pi can beat it.

#5 the RPi has a graphics processing unit, my notebook and many low end (current) netbooks don't. I can assument that either Lichess makes use of that or I should switch browsers.
