Lichess ratings

Perhaps you crack up when you can see the whites of their eyes, and they produce bowel gas venomously? Maybe the vague growling you can hear makes you break into a sweat, especially when the opponent has a wolf-like quality about him.

Who knows?
I'd imagine it is a combination of these things....

- You're young and developing fast, and online ratings reflect the changes faster than the official OTB ones

- lichess ratings seem to be higher anyway, but maybe more like 200 point than 700

- You play different kinds of games on lichess than OTB. In your profile you say you like bullet online. It could be you are relatively far better at bullet than at slow games.

My guess would be the last point is the biggest contributor.
Ratings only have meaning within the pool of players. No good reason to compare apples to oranges.
On closer look your lichess classical and bullet ratings are in the same ballpark. But even 10+0 is very fast compared to serious OTB games.

Personally I found when I started playing a few slowish casual games OTB after a long time of only playing online blitz, my habits from only playing fast meant I was making a lot of oversights that got punished by decent OTB players who took their time. On the one hand they see your mistakes, on the other hand they don't make so many themselves. In fast games a big part of your game can be spotting simple tactics and making slightly less mistakes than your opponent makes!

I found it's not so easy to change your thinking habits, and I get pretty impatient and fidgety in slow OTB games now!
My Lichess rating is the same as over the board, around 1700.
I would not say it is over inflated or under inflate.
It all depends on the type of players you play and in what category of chess tournaments you play in. If you play alot of unrated or newly rated players and they are good, you rating might be under inflate. If you play players that have a well established rating then similar ratings become a 50% chance of winning.
If a person use premoves and the other does not. That the ratings are over and under inflated, depending on who won and who was using the premoves. Its like two players playing on two different time controls. That sounds like a handycap.

Compare speed chess ratings to slow games and it is not the same either. Time trouble is a big factor that affects ratings and game results.
#7 I don't think it is because that I get punished more in otb.

here are a few of my normal level games
(Time control from 30 min +30 sec to 90 min +30 sec)

from the graphs and knowledge of the time in the game I see that my ACP is about 15 to 50 what to my mind is not that blunderful. and the main reason i lose games is because of mistakes or blunders in time pressure.
there is no way to prove that what you say is true (both are the same person just because have the same name)

And if your rating is high in internet chess (+700 points elo) maybe you use some kind of assistance in your on-line games
