chess.com vs lichess: which is better?

I prefer lichess, but share your thoughts. Even if you disagree with me, everyone is welcome here.
ping on lichess is < than on chess.com and I live in america.
Lichess is ad free
Lichess has free engine analysis
Lichess has Berserk
Lichess is a really light weight website which is easy on the eyes
vs.
No Naka....
More ads than a porn site
Restricted content only paying members have access to
The name
Makes streamers leave lichess.org
Freedom of speech does not exist on the website even though it's an American based website

Outside of Naka and the website's name I can't think of any other reason why people would choose to go there. Or at least why I would go there now. Chess.com use to have ad trackers that pretty much stole you're info for marketing purposed in little fine print when you signed up. Did you get paid for the information they gained from you or was you treated like a bitch lab rat and didn't even know till after you read this? I dunno if they still do but I found out when I was running avast ad tracker blocker or something like that a year or so ago.
I agree that lichess is better for playing, but I still enjoy using chess.com daily for articles, news, and that sort of stuff.
yes chess.com is more like a social media site with chess on the sidelines. Ok if you like that sort of thing.
Lichess is soooo much better than chess.com.

I had a free lifetime diamond account on chess.com which I voluntarily closed for fear of throwing up every time I logged in.
Due to their totally disgusting, despicable, insufferable, dictatorial policies.

CC is completely overrun by trolls. People that are structurally misbehaving. Moderators that act like they think God created them on day 8. When you just mention Lichess or ICC for instance your post will get instantly deleted while it takes a long, long time for them to act, if at all, when people display sexist, racist and fascist behaviour.
I could go on and on. I'm really glad I left there.

When there is something of interest over there like the Carlsen-Nakamura blitz match end of October, you can just watch it unregistered I believe or alternatively create a one-day account.
They make money by stating to their advertisers they have over 15 million members. Yeah right. 80/90% of those are inactive and members with multiple accounts.

And even though it's against my 'principles' to pay for access to chess, which I never ever did, I even put a small amount (nothing spectacular) in Lichess's kitty.

Which says it all.
