games against cheater

I started two correspondence games against the same person. The person was a cheat. I reported them, and the next day got a message from lichess saying 'someone you reported was banned, thanks for the help!'.

But, the games I started are still active as normal. It still says its a rated game and the person appears to be continuing to play. Their account says 'this person is using computer assistance'.

I do not wish to continue the game, nor do I want to resign and blemish my casual or rated record. There is no abort button. I don't want to waste any more time with this person. What should I do?

I think you have to blemish your casual record and resign. I'm pretty sure it won't be rated.

@dorhinj1 @seanysean I thought that might be the only choice.

The problem is fixed now as both games have been resigned. I'm not sure if Lichess did this (if so, thanks Lichess :)!) or the cheater.
