Strange draw awarded

I had a king and bishop, my opponent had a king and two queens but ran out of time and the game was deemed a draw. Why would this be the case? There have been plenty of times someone has flagged with nothing but a king and given the win, what am I missing? *Edit: my statement above about "plenty of times a sole king has flagged for the win" was me having a brain fart
Here is a screen shot of the game if that is helpful, maybe I'm just confused but I would have thought this would be a win for black for sure: imgur.com/a/SD8sASO
1. Lichess follows FIDE rules which state that if your time expires, you lose unless your opponent cannot win (checkmate you) by any sequence of legal moves.

2. There is no way black could possibly checkmate white here with a bishop against two queens even if white tried to help. Just try to set up such position.

3. On the other hand, I strongly believe that your claim that "There have been plenty of times someone has flagged with nothing but a king and given the win is wrong. If you insist that this is indeed the case, please show at least one example of such game (on lichess).
Thanks for the reply, super helpful! And I was having a total brain fart earlier on the statement around a sole king flagging for the win, I was thinking of a king and a single pawn or something (anything other than only a king hah). I think the fact I had a piece was the confusing part.

That's interesting, so if white had their pawns un-queened still, black would have been given the win?
Yes, if white had a pawn, it would have been a win. Since white could lose the queens and then promote the pawn to, let's say, a knight, and get checkmated in the corner.
While here, checkmate isn't possible, hence it's a draw by insufficient material.
You cannot win with Bishop(s) of the same color against any number of Queens, Rooks PLUS Bishops of the same color.

Try out!

(The Bishops have to have all the same color, that’s important!)

The side with bishop can win if opponent resigns
Or if the side with queens decides to give them to a bishop or a king freely (so that the side with bishop can take the queens away), but that's very rare variant.
