It;s a matter of taste (and loyalty?) I guess. Chess.com players will say that chess.com is the best, ditto chesscube et al. Some people will just voice their opinions more loudly (and stupidly) than the sane majority who I am sure would appreciate an ad-free, open-source, clean website - or the idea of one, if they are satisfied with their site... I also think the group misinterpreted the *JOKEY* references to capitalism/communism on the *JOKE* April Foos thread. Some people have no sense of humour, and I weep for them
PS. The censorship of other chess website names is just stupid
Perhaps we should have a new part of the site called Siberia. It needs to be quite remote on the sitemap.
To be quite honest, I've suspected chess.com of using bots to boost their player count for some time now. Certain games against real users just feel off.
dododa, I think you are right - just type "chess.com bot" into Google, and you have YouTube clips, instructions etc.... Not exactly subtle are they? HEY LOOK! I"M CHEATING!!! And this is how I do it
