Your opinion on 'Horde Chess'

Nice game elwood!! Nice back pawn moving... and strategy in general (letting queen in when you are winning).

You do know you can move two squares for 7th ranked pawns? Makes forward movement a lot easier.
Just noticed you moved one square for http://en.lichess.org/8hdbZWi3/black#46
@Goldilocks
Thanks, of course I lost quite a few games after that one...
And yes I knew about moving two squares from the 7th but somehow my brain was stuck on single moves. One of horde's side effects I suppose, now I even feel kind of frustrated whenever I play a regular game, I still feel like throwing everything at my opponent right from the opening. :D
I feel like playing black is considerably more difficult that white. Maybe because I'm not used to asymmetric variants?
Hi, I think it's also the kind of play that differs a lot more from regular chess (playing black, I mean). Surely that can play a part, not sure how big, in the win/lose ratio as black or white.
I agree elwood. I've wondered about theory for black since day one. White's plan is obvious, but black's isn't as clear.

goldilocks had some ideas for black on post #78
