Feature Request: Disable advertisements AKA Blog feed

Feature request: Please add a profile setting that hides all blog posts?

- many (most?) blog posts are ads disguised as articles
- many blog posts are spoilers for chess tournaments
- clutter the home page
- zero interest in any possible blog content
