Lost vs king-only

Since you dont have the ability to make illegal moves and claim a draw, lichess promotes you to stop moving and let your time run out (walking away). All other platforms do support an "arbiter" who will award draws if your opponent lacks mating material.

So resigning is still the best option on lichess if you dont care about online rating, and you just want a new game. Post all the rules you like.
G3 says appendix G doesn't apply to Blitz games at all, only to rapidplay and standard, so it seems like an arbiter can't declare a draw because of insufficient winning chances in blitz.

I agree it is silly but it seems you can't claim a draw even if opponent only has the king left in blitz.
The sad conclusion maybe is: "Anyone being so lazy thay don't manage to push the pawn to a Q deserves to lose against a lonely king" hehe :)
What if the pawn is on e2 and the lonely king is blocking the pawn. Lichess forces you to play 15 futile moves to stalemate your opponent or to wait untill your clock runs out.

You have to calculate which draw is quicker, being flagged or stalemate/forcing the capture.

Probably there are even worse endgames. What if theres like 5 seconds increment etc.

How many moves untill you can resign without being lazy?
JohnQsac, I would like a "claim draw" option too, if your opponent can't win, but since there is no such rule lichess is handling this correctly.
Did you play against an asshole like this once ?
#35 yes this would be nice !
