I think it'll make more sense that the "Blitz" standard chess time control icon is a flash, not a flame. Blitz means "flash" in German.

Already thought about this. The lightning bolt was the prior bullet icon. It would make more sense to have the bolt for Blitz and the flame for Bullet.
I think the flame looks cool...
The word Blitz reminds me of ,,Blitzkasten". An invention made by the devil himself (at least in switzerland).
Lightning makes perfect sense, but Thibault said that it should take at least 1 year to change Blitz icon, because some people still associate lightning icon with bullet (as it was before icon update), so it might confuse them.
