Ding defeats Carlsen with a brilliant king walk

good format.. question organization. will study.
Very funny sequence, will try to use it in bullet games probably, I'm not smart enough to pull it off in longer time controls
It's unfortunate for the chess world when the world's best player doesn't play.

Ding's world championship will always come with a footnote: Carlsen didn't compete.

the white rook previous move on e file does seem to make it hard for both rooks to go queenside...
So they seem to have some inertia toward kindside motion, possibly surviving to move on rank 8. (nimzo sweeping rooks?).

but the safe haven seem to be a thing with king aiming at rank7. strong with luft. defensive B also long range attackiing white kind side. (with some remaining cross-diagonal activity for defense)..

white B does not seem to have much shallow choice but to be active on the black king side either...
Does harmony have lateral inertia? (with a obstructed center, maybe).

this is debate. it can be done from all experience level.. i think one learns from using the little they know to venture hypotheses, and hopefully knowers can help them tune or course correct their understanding that way.. bidirectional communication (blogs are not that way).

last question of mine from the video, is I was wondering about the knight and pawn e file structure mention underlying arguements if any.. It is stuck in my visual memory, but it did not come with support other than it is valuable. This is also new to me, such highlight. So dense presentation with lots of author questions, but also from avid and curious learner like me. Well done.. having questions is a sign of interest..
