chess etiquette- rematches

@PhillipTheTank You live in your own world, there's no arguing with you anymore, thanks for your contributions. Let me clear that out. you have to have been into a chess club to understand that there are people waiting to play. If you insist in analysing every game you play at the chess club while there are people waiting to play... what can I say. Sure. Let's agree to disagree.
Yes, I'm some completely bizarre monster because I don't behave exactly like you do. Get used to people not sharing your views. It's a big world out there.

Note that this is not just isolated to me. You are complaining about it happening all the time. There are many, many people out there like me that don't just automatically think rematches are the default case. Trying to pretend like I'm some isolated case is exactly why you are confused by this whole thing.
@PhillipTheTank I'm used to that. Yet, YOU came to the post I wrote because you did not agree with me, right? You could have read the first two lines of the post and decided to go drink a beer, but you did not do that. I wrote the post to speak my mind, to make people like you think...not to change your opinion. Believe in whatever.
Will you do the following in a chess club:
Sit opposite to a complete stranger who happens to have a board in front of themselves, say nothing, just play your first move. If they don't respond within 15 seconds, stand up and go to the next complete stranger to try again. If they do, play your game without saying a word.

Unlikely. Turns out: Internet and IRL are different things.

I never accept rematches because I analyze after games, and I'm too lazy to type "Sorry don't want a Rematch" every time (not to mention I often get Rematch requests long after I've left the chat).
I used to decline rematch offers, but that option seems to be gone nowadays, so now I just ignore them. I fail to see how this is "rude".
The people here said it better than I could, so I can scarcely contribute any further content.

If one has a certain idea of fairness (in his head) and wants to install it versus the rest of the world - than he himself becomes unfair. Fairness can’t be enforced - you start to bother „innocent“ people and become the unfair one yourself.

Personally: Sometimes I accept, sometimes not. But don’t dare to enforce something!

PS: There's a famous old joke in Germany, it goes something like this, hope I won't spoil it too much:
A guy is driving along the highway and there's a broadcast on the radio: "Be careful! There's one ghost driver (wrong-way driver) underway!". Then this guy disgusted: "One? There are hundreds!"
Wrong way drivers converge on my home town this time of year. Jeez. You can't leave the driveway nor go to the market without swerving wildly to miss them. They are tourists and hence own the right of way, irregardless of posted signs or traffic signals.
"to make people like you think"

I have put a lot more thought in to this subject than you probably have, considering you still haven't figured out that not everyone thinks the same way you do. I figured that out in about 1977.
(Bringing Lichess to real life) There is a place with 10000 boards 2500 waiting to play. You play a game with a player and the game is finished and to ask a rematch you must press a bell. Talking is chat room. Your opponent presses the bell and You will not wait for 5 seconds to say to him that you don't want a rematch. You will just ignore. (Back to internet) in Lichess there are 10000 boards 2500 waiting to play. Rematch button is the bell. If he asks for rematch in chat room, I will surely reply(In real life[If he asks me using voice I will reply)]
lichess needs to create a room for players wanting a rematch. Upon pressing the rematch tab, they go to the rematch room. Since players there are all requesting a rematch, similar pairings can be easily found, just change the names of the opponents and everybody is happy!
