Do you respect people with lower ELo?

The preference setting is to avoid being spammed by game requests. It has nothing to do with dislike of lower rated players. The title attracts a lot of unwanted attention online. Sometimes you simply want to relax and spam the forums.
@Masquerade it's not about respect, but indeed waste of time for both players. You would annoy them to death with attempts of doing just one win, while they too want to have challenge entering this site. I know how this works, since i'm pressing every possible high rated player as fast as possible myself.
Just glad some of them don't mind not to have challenge.
@lovlas i have a question about magnus carlsen. Does he sounds smarter when he speaks in his mothertongue langue?
Magnus is quite clever. I can't say I notice a difference between the languages, but he probably feels more comfortable speaking Norwegian. I know I do.
Let's face it. Becoming a master is nearly impossible for us mere mortals. Such nonsense.
I don't think that is true at all @Masquerade. I believe anyone with the proper motivation (plus time and economy) can become strong players.
@lovlas Then why is it that many people go YEARS without even reaching expert? I have been studying nonstop for the past two-and-a-half years and haven't even reached B class. It's nonsense I tell you! You need to be born with it. Luckily you were. Congrats.
Meh, I could be a master if I wanted to, but then I'd have to behave myself. I guess you always have to give something to get something.
