Why the Opposition to Draws?

#50 So, your analysis of a position is infallible, and your opponents are always out to get you with draw offers in lost positions? Nice.
#51, what part of "These ridiculous draw offers almost always come when I'm trying to find the right move in an extremely complex position and I'm under time pressure so every second counts." don't you understand?

If you're unable to understand that's your problem.
I understand your plight, Robert. I think you have sufficiently answered the OP's inquiry.

Why the opposition to draws? Stubbornness.

@Dionysus_god That was what I perceived. I was more interested in the underlying reasoning.

@BobC You realize how arrogant you're coming off as? The more complex a situation, the more likely one of the players is to see it as a drawn position.
Blueberry, maybe that's true at your level the 1400's. I'm in the 1900's these days where people are not great but at least we know how to play the game and we most certainly don't think a complex position is good place to quit playing.

In any case I will do what I want. If that makes people cry I don't care.
@BobC I can easily beat people who are in the 1600s, but get PWNd by people who are in the 1200s to 1300s. The reason? I have trouble when my opponent plays unorthodoxedly (particularly when they bring their queen out on move two or three).

And I'm currently in a slump from playing low-rated players. In reality, i'm about 1500.
BobC has a problem that should remain his problem; and he solves the problem too, a nice accent mark.

But we all have our problems, and no shame should be attached, in most cases.

And problems are meant to be solved.
Dionysus_god, what problem? I do what I want. Why does that make you cry?

You obviously have a problem. You can't get thru the day without being a pest.
Do you make it a habit to disparage people that defend you?
Your problem, that you yourself said, is that people send draw offers while you are trying to concentrate, and you solve that by blocking them (which is inane, but that's beside my point right now)
He did not cry. I do not understand your reaction to that post.
I don't know what history you have with him, but from what I can see, and everyone else on this thread sees, your insults toward him are uncalled for.
"which is inane" That's your opinion. Nobody cares.
